Trick for getting #@$%$ Adobe to automatically create links?

It's been so long since I've created a PDF with links in it (using Adobe), I
forgot how to make it automatically convert them. I remember how to go
into the file manually after conversion and create each one, but who wants
to do that?

I'm converting from MS Word. Which stupid hidden setting will allow me to
do the auto-link thing? Any suggestions? Puleez?? This should not be an all
night affair!
