Ebook / digital file security
Posted: Tue Apr 18, 2006 11:46 amI know most of you sell digital files or ebooks online. Does anyone here have any experience with digital watermarking? This is something my company is looking at incorporating into our software since we are targeting the digital delivery / digital file market.
Many of our current clients produce digital products and are making millions of dollars on these products. Our current security options are acceptable to them but, I would like to know if digital watermarking would be feature that smaller businesses would use. I don't currently know of any shopping cart (at our price point) that currently uses digital watermarking, so that would be a perk right there.
Please feel free to post about any experience or thoughts on digital watermarking. I would like lots of input.
