PDA, etc

I was just wondering about the compatibility of the various eBook compiler offerings and PDA, either Pocket PC or Palm. Do the compiled version work well with PDAs as far as formatting, legibility, etc?
Also, how about a discussion about the tradeoffs between using an eBook compiler versus Using an Adobe PDF? I see pros and cons for both, such as Printability, portability, etc. And how compatible are these alternatives for graphic illustartions? Do the eBook compilers in general allow inclusion of various graphic standards ?
Opinions? Likes? Dislikes? Alternatives to either?

I'm excited - an ebook question!

PDA - pdfs will work on both types altho they are exactly easy to read. lit format works with Pocket PC (and reads easier than pdfs). exe format will not work for PDAs. There are a few different palm formats that can, with a special reader by read on the Pocker PC and a regular PC with a special reader.

pdf is generally better for graphical layouts (due to fixed layout versus reflowable) however with the right coding and/or exe compiler - they can be handled fairly well with exes. Lit also handles graphics fairly well as. tk3 is also very good for graphics.
