How to create simple, text-based ebook covers?

Hi,

I have some readymade ebooks covers like 5-10 of them as far as remember. If you have compactdraw or some grahpic manipulating software, I can give them to you. You have to change the text on the covers.

Reg. software, google it 'ebook+cover+software'. You will get bunch of them.

The problem isn't finding ebook covers. It's ADDING TEXT to them somehow. I DID just use PowerPoint, of all things, to do it... doesn't look too bad!

You can use Micsosoft Word to add text to graphics - put the graphic in Word, then add text using Word Art.

If Word doesn't want to save/export the resulting image in the format you want, either save it, then convert using Irfanview (free) OR use a free screen capture program, like MWSnap (free).

Personally, I use MS Image Composer, which came free with Front Page.
