1) Should one be concerned about having your original content ebook copied

2) How do you protect ebooks what tools are available to do this and is it worth it

Since it is just a computer file, it is almost impossible to keep it from being copied. You can password protect the file, but most of your clients will find that to be a real nuisance.

I'm not 100% sure if you mean copying the content to use in their own ebooks, or if you mean copying the entire file, and giving it away or sharing it.

If you're talking about copying your content and reusing it in their own materials, that is basically impossible. All they would need to do is retype your content, or even use an OCR program to convert it to a Word document.

Make sure you have upsell opportunities and other product recommendations in your ebook. Then even if the file is "shared" you have the opportunity to make sales of other products.
