Non-Copywriting Books For Better Copywriting

Right now I'm re-reading a book by the famous trial lawyer Gerry Spence.
It's called, "How To Argue And Win Every Time."
And I'm absolutely floored by how much of this book applies to copywriting. Gerry is a true master of persuasion (some of his courtroom "miracles" are more dramatic than the fake ones on TV!). I'd say about 90% of this book can be directly applied to copywriting.
Anyone else have any non-copywriting books that have helped with your copywriting?

Ben,
Here is another one to add to this "non-copywriting" books list...
"The Obvious Expert" by Elsom Eldridge
Then, you can go down the list...
Any of Dan Kennedy's "No B.S." books...
"The 4-Hour Workweek" by Timothy Ferriss...
"Master The Art Of Selling" by Tom Hopkins
Anything written by Seth Godin
Anything written by Mark Joyner
The Law of Success In 16 Lessons by Napoleon Hill
and on...and on...
Let's make this a list for everyone to refer to Ben, Ryan, Ray, Kyle, and anyone else.
No copywriting books...but books that have helped with your copywriting.

Totally forgot about that one Kyle, any more you can think of?
I have another...
"Million Dollar Marketing Secrets" by Ryan Healy (and others).

Another good one is Stephen King's "On Writing" -- almost forgot about this one.

Another good one... is a little pamphlet called, "Obvious Adams."
Gary Bencivenga strongly recommends reading this little pamphlet regularly and, after reading it, I can see why...

Here are a few of my favorites:
The Paradox of Choice by Barry Schwartz
Predictably Irrational by Dan Ariely
Blink by Malcolm Gladwell
These are all about how people behave in real-life situations... not theory.

Another great book that is not specifically a "copywriting" book (although there are a few chapters on the subject) is Ken McCarthy's "System Club Letters" book.
This book is packed with gems and you have to read it several times to get them all.
(But don't worry, it's a short, easy read. In fact, it can be read in two or three sittings if you're a big reader).
