I've just received my first request to write an article or sales copy for a social service agency. Y-A-H-O-O-O!!!!!!!
However, this is my first professional assignment and I'm suffering from writer's block!! PLEASE HELP!
This agency offers training classes in job readiness and life skills. The target market is state employment agencies or anyone needing these services. One major objective of this article is to show the effectiveness of the training. The goal is to encourage the reader to purchase their services.
What would be the quickest and best way to write this article? Should I write the article in a "storytelling" format or straightforward and factual? I have first-hand knowledge of this agency's most recent collaboration with a state employment agency in which they received rave reviews. What would be the best layout or style for this type of sales copy? It will be presented in hardcopy form to prospective clients. Should I include any photos or graphic art?
