Years ago I scanned my signature and then used Corel Draw's trace function to change it to a vector graphic (.wmf) As a vector, it could be tweaked until it looked better than my handwriting. Now I use it for all my laser-printed business correspondence.
I don't know if any of the popular programs have a bitmap -> vector conversion.

You can use most any photo editing software I use Paint shop pro then create a new image about 200X100 or so then use a cursive font. Or do it by hand scan it then crop it so its the size you want.

Please don't do it if you're doing it to put on your website. That is a VERY dangerous thing to do!
Why? such items put on legal papers end up legal!
So here is what I do. I just put my first name on my website letters.
