I'm currently reading Order Button Triggers by Michael Nicholas - a fascinating read so far! It deals mainly with sales letters, which is why I ordered it, and features some of the more famous money-making sales-letter writers (Jim Edwards, Yanik Silver, Frank Garon, Jason Potash, Joe Vitale, etc).

I believe I mentioned earlier in this thread that I'm also reading The Step-by-Step SEO Copywriting Course by Karon Thackston. This is a GOOD general online copywriting guide... and I like Karon's style - a lot of good insight.

Oh well, I guess I'm one of those people who uses those, "Who esle wants to...blah, blah, blah" headlines.

I just basically took John's advice on one of his conference calls. And it did work. I'm getting more response from my leads.

But anyway, I don't care much about the style of writing. All I care about is the result. I chose Michel's juz coz he made someone over a million $$$ over night through his copywriting.

I hope someone could tell me, if http://www.copyonfire.com is a good product. Especially for beginners.

It is obviosally a good headline because like you say it works. It's just that when you see a lot of sales letters like we do it stops working, for me anyway.

I don't know anything about Copy On Fire but that is a good sales letter if I hadn't already spent $1,000 with John Reese I would be tempted.

I don't own CopyOnFire, but I am a member of It's GREAT! This month (well actually August) he tears apart 5 website sales copies... and one critique is even 4.5 hours long :shock:

Personally, here's my suggestion. Take a moment to read the Marketing Rebel Rant by John Carlton. He offers is at a subscription fee (annual) at http://marketingrebel.com ... But also offers a full year, online, for free at http://marketingrebelrant.com/

It's one of the best on copywriting. (I'm a HUGE Carlton fan.)
