Is a $7 affiliate commission reasonable?

I would like to get some feedback on our affiliate program. Members pay a monthly fee of under $20. They receive a $7 recurring commission for every customer they refer. Is this reasonable?

Can you tell, us a little bit more about your site? What do members get for "a monthly fee of under $20"? Is it the site in your sig?

1/3 commission can be good/bad depending on your product/service.

Yes, the site url is on my sig.

PubClip customers can upload their media or create audio and video clips over the phone or using our web recorder. They can download or publish their clips to websites, emails, blogs and podcasts.

I think there are a number of factors that make you affiliate payout very reasonable.

1. Your members automatically become affiliates. If a viewer happens to stumble uopn their site, without any advertising on their part, and signs up, they get a recurring commission. Not bad.

2. Just 3 referrals and a member can use your service for free....they have a service that can pay for itself.

3. The commissions are recurring.
