Affiliate program software

Postby Rob » Wed Apr 07, 2004 11:23 am

Hi,

Can anyone recommend affiliate tracking software or coding that I can use on a web site. I have some sites that I have identified as having no affiliate programs and want to run one for them.

Many thanks
Rob

Groundbreak.com's Ultimate Affiliate Software is one that was highly recommended to me, and it certainly has all of the features one would most likely be looking for. I havent purchased it yet, but liked the fact that you received 5 user licenses...

Is that the type of program you're needing, or something else altogether?

I never saw that one when I was doing my research. I settled on Quick Pay Pro, which I'm happy with, but it's not cheap. I am going to have to look into this one more as it seems to have all the features I'm looking for...but I'd hate to switch everything. ARGH!

Have you seen any reviews of this program anywhere, Lynn?

I havent, honestly - but it was recommended to me by an upper level marketer that I trust and respect... so it was my top choice. ;)

If you want your affiliates to succeed

Postby pschlegel » Sat Apr 17, 2004 10:06 pm

Most affiliate software seems to be geared towards helping
affiliates fail. In particular, they don't offer affiliates
ways to track multiple campaigns, and even if they do,
they don't offer affiliates ways to set up hundreds to thousands
of campaigns easily for the purposes of tracking indivual keywords
on the PPCs.

On that does is http://www.synergyx.com/

It is pricey, but it is an affiliate's dream.

Hope that helps.

I too am taking the plunge and starting an affilate program for my site and need some recommendations for quality software to run the affilate program.

I'd MUCH prefer a non-hosted solution, I just can't see paying someone else a monthly fee.

Something with a good area for affiliates to check their sales and stats;
Something that allows 3 or more levels;
Something that allows differing affilate percentages and commissions based on click thru or sales;
Something that'll export the payment numbers to any common software with the ability to print checks from (such as Qucken)

Anyone familiar with these:

http://www.affiliate-management-software.com/
$300

http://www.yoursoft-tm.com/youraff.htm
$250

http://www.groundbreak.com/ua_features.html
$100

http://www.idevdirect.com/idevaffiliate.php
$100

http://www.php-affiliate.com/phpaffiliate.html
$70

Right now I'm leaning towards affiliate-management-software.com or groundbreak.com

I've found PostAffiliate Pro to be very helpful in managing my affiliate program. :)

I manage multiple sites - some of them my own, some of them in partnership with others. It is nice to have the 5 licenses as you can install it on more than one server (for more than one business) ;)

Thanks for the explaination. I thought that was what you meant but was confused because thirdsphere said this...

Host multiple domain names!
For a low, one-time fee of just $10 each, you can add new domain names to your account and use them host different websites. Plus, you can manage all of them with the same easy-to-use control panel.

I do use ThirdSphere for most of my main sites, but I also manage several others - some of them my own, some of them in partnership. Not all on the same host, of course.

My vote would be for GroundBreak's Ultimate Affiliate software. It's what we use and the reason was because how customizable it was.

You could track affiliates by Sale, Lead, Visitor. It's just a very solid solution and it's priced fairly. Not that price was a reason but for small businesses looking for a powerful affiliate software that can plugin to 3rd party applications like e-commerce sites, or e-book sales, or anything, it's the one for you.

I, too, am adding an affiliate program to my site. I have heard good things about the free shopping cart at www.mals-e.com and they also have a free affiliate program built in called mTracker. My affiliate program needs are quite simple - no multiple tiers, and just a flat percentage of sales - so mals-e seems to be a great solution for us. Does anyone have experience with mals-e?

The best solution

Postby nik » Fri Mar 25, 2005 10:41 am

The best affiliate software would have to be AllAffiliatePro. Their latest version has leading feature that even the likes of my affiliate program and direct track don't have. They are being very secretive about the up and coming version 5 'magnum. Rumors are it's set to take the lead in the affiliate software market.

You can view their current site at:-
http://www.allaffiliatepro.com

Their software is true multi site, you can have different commission levels for different sites. Depending on your products you can also trade your goods for money off their software.

Another vote for Groundbreak.com's Ultimate Affiliate Software. It is powerful and easy to use.
