How to use CJ, Amazon, ect with Adwords

I am attempting to promote products from Amazon and Buy.com through CJ on Adwords, however their link creation system makes this difficult.

It seems I have to strip some code from the links they generate, and this looks like the code they use to track impressions/clicks.

Anyone happen to know how these programs can be used with Adwords?

You can just use the direct URL in that code. This means you wont be able to track impressions through CJ - only sales. But you can see your impressions through your Adwords Campaign.

For example, here's an affiliate text link for eBay:

<a href="http://www.kqzyfj.com/click-1209234-2202639" target="_top" >eBay!</a>
<img src="http://www.awltovhc.com/image-1209234-2202639" width="1" height="1" border="0">

You would use the link just after <a href=". Hope that helps!

As long as you use the final target domain as the visible domain name in your ad you can use those 'cryptic' links as the actual link for your ads.

quantikev, why you want to directly send the click to the vendor programs. It pays to make a landing page rather than sending the traffic directly to the vendor. I can remember two advantage.

1. Major one is you can presale the product and so the coversion rate is quite high. And it is conversion which matters not the click in affiliate marketing

2. You brings more to your site and your site brand gets improved.

I agree. Landing pages are the way to go. Collect their email address and send them to what they were looking for.

You can use a free script such as http://freeautobot.com to get the email address, send them to the target page and market to them again with similar items.
