Just started MSN PPC

Just started my first PPC campaign. I used MSN's services because it was much cheaper to get good key word phrases for pages 1 - 3. I am still waiting for it to be posted. Very exited.

If anybody is contemplating trying this, they are having a deal where you start out with a $50.00 credit to your account. Yahoo is doing the same. This should help get some quality traffic without costing too much!

No sales yet, but I am definately getting traffic. I used some phrases that got me on pages 1 & 2 with some pretty popular items. This is my first PPC experience so I will keep you posted. As far as adwords goes, How does that work out?

I don't work for them, however I will say that last year I had a $100.00 credit for MSN and I got some #1 positions but virtually no traffic, the credit does expire if you don't use it.

I bid ridiculously high amounts just to use up the credit and still no traffic and with the little traffic I did get, I ended up getting charged because my unused credits did expire.

My advice, stick with Google Adwords and focus on whipping up an irresistable freebie with the goal of building a list.

I haven't tried it yet, but I've heard mixed reviews. I think they are still trying to work out some bugs, but hey, if you can get $50 in free advetising credits, I say go for it - you will probably learn something in the process!

I tried MSN for about a month...nothing, while I continue to do very well with Google Adwords.
