Footer Issue

Greetings,

This isn't a ploy to get visitors to my blog, but a serious question. I love my blog theme, but the creators of the theme encrypted the footer, such that there are some links in there to conference calls and credit cards that I can't get rid of. Someone suggested just getting rid of the footer, which works great for the main page, but messes up each individual post.

So, my question is, does anyone either know how I can break the encryption so I can see what's there and get rid of those links (they seem to dominate the traffic I get from search engines), or can someone offer another suggestion on how I can get rid of them? Just so you know, I'm not a PHP expert, but I know lots of other HTML/CSS things.

If the theme author went to the trouble of encoding the footer, my guess is that one of the conditions of using the theme is that the links have to remain in place.

Check your terms of use before removing them.

I figured they hid it for some reason.

There are no terms of usage listed anywhere; I theorized they figured they didn't have to if they encrypted everything.
