Question - How to make a post stay at the top?

Hi all you WP blog experts!
Is there a way (or plugin maybe) that will let me have a post stay at the top as the first post all the time?
Haven't found one yet so thought I would ask here too.

Hiya Rick,
Yes, the plugin should do what you need. I used it for a while for one sticky post to keep at the top but then decided not to keep the post there. But that is the plugin I used for it. Hope that's what you needed.

the newest 2.7, lets you do this default. (built in).
be careful of upgrading, I had to rebuild tons of plugins, just to many changes in the 2.7

I have not upgraded yet either. Now this post has me kinda scared to. I have seen the WP Sticky plugin though and it looks pretty cool!

don't mean to scare anyone. Thoe, I have to admit, I waited almost 2 days before I had the bravery to upgrade. I knew it would crash some plugins, wont as bad as I thought it would be. But, it didn't go smoothly. Had to spend 4-6 hrs fixing plugins, whom used commands which was removed in the new version!
