What makes a Blog interesting to you?

What makes you want to read them?

How often do you follow them?

Do you read passively, or get involved and post Comments?

The blogger has to be "real" - no fake people, no people blogging simply for backlinks - people who blog because they love to - it really is something you can see. I have about ten I read regularly - mainly because they're funny, but some due to pure storytelling . And, I comment regularly on all my frequent reads.

And speaking of interesting, I cannot get that dream you had - Alice - out of my head! That just cracked me up!!


- When YOU Blog... do you just 'blog it out' - or do you sit down and strategize ways to make it interesting for your readers?


I'm Blogging ( shhh! secretly ) and I find that - unlike anything else I do online - it has absolutely NO purpose, yet I'm completely addicted to it already. It's more of a 'thinking out loud' spot than anything.

I agree with the other posts..I love reading a funny blog! I read Alice's and Rae..I just read yours..very funny!

For me, when I blog (I just started) it just comes out. I may have an idea on the topic but the rest just pours out and just hope at the end it isn't too whacky I think that's why I like blogging. Everything else- like newsletters, web pages and such- is so "end result" driven that blogging just seems so refreshingly different from all of that.
