What are Pros - Cons of Wordpress when non static and static

1) What features does one lose when one makes wordpress static

2) Does one still benefit from a seo perspective where ones wordpress site can get indexed quickly if so since now it is static

3) What is the main reasons for wanting a wordpress site that is static read up that data feeds may be a reason for static sites not sure if clear on this

4) The static blogging course anyone read it, if I were not to really need static blogs is the tutorial complete in terms of being able to learn wordpress for static and non static wordpress sites at the same time or it covers less for regualar users who do not require static sites

5) Can wordpress be grouped into categories if so how can this be done

Yes WordPress supports categories. Adding static pages to a WordPress blog just means they are more like web pages than blog posts. That means you can have a main page and other "static pages" and also have blog posts and categories and commenting and such.

You dont lose any features.
