How do I make the Links work in wordpress

Pardon for asking this question, I am sure there is simple answer to it.

I am using version 2.2.2.

I enter a post into the code Tab so that the links will work, but I am doing something wrong. here is the link part just as I received it.

However no matter what I do I can not make the links works. Is there something I am not doing. is there a HTML Tab somewhere.


Any help would be gladly accepted

I can't see anything wrong with your code. Did you try it in the Visual Tab and use the Insert/Edit Link (Alt + a) shortcut.

I don't know about anyone else but, I don't really care for the 2.2.2 version. I have one blog with the 2.1.3 version and have never had any problems. The 2.2.2 version however, has been a royal pain in the rear end!

For example, it wants to automatically edit all of my spacing. Whether I do it in the Visual tab or do it manually in the Code tab, every time I publish the post, WP scrunches it up. For example, this page:
http://mywahmspaceblog.com/affordable-wahm-advertising/ See how everything is all squeezed together? And you don't want to get me started on the paypal buttons. It automatically encrypts the code - which would be fine however, when it encrypts the code, it no longer works

Is there a way to download a previous version?

If I down grade to 2.1.3 will my plugins still work. I know it is a pain often with 2.2.2 I understand what you mean about the spacing. Many thanks for the advice.

All go again here. I tracked the problem down to the theme I was using. Strange but it does not work with some themes. However I have found a suitable theme that works now.
