Hi All,

Blogs....I am sure most of you have heard of them, some of you may run one, then I have a few questions for you all.

Do you see them replacing the common email newsletter?

Many people frequent forums on a daily basis, what do you believe it would take for Blogs to become as popular?

I look forward to your feedback, feel free to post any other additional comments or experience you have had with Blogs...all contributions would be appreciated.

Great questions. I have one to add. What is a blog in the first place? I've seen the term, I just have no idea what it is.

Blogs are useful when you have frequently updated content that you cannot put into a forum or email. Eg some is testing something o the web and continiously publishes the most current results.
If you put this into email form, it could be a nuisance when you get 3 or 4 emails from the same persion per day. Nearly SPAM.
if this person puts it on a webpage, everyone can have a look at it whenever he/she wants to.
Also a Blog (with one page per day) creates content that is searchable and therefore valuable (gets visitors into your site)
