I have been working on a new blog that I would like to submit to blog directories. Does anyone have any suggestions on some blog directories that give you traffic?

I agree - great list! I've made this thread a Sticky at the top of the Blogging forum as I'm sure it will be benefical to everyone that visits this section. If anyone knows of more blog directories to add to this list, feel free to post them here!

Word of caution - some RSS directories actually require you to manually submit your site the first time before you ping them. Otherwise, they won't list your updates, so you may also want to take a moment to check out their terms before randomly sending them a ping.
