I am currently working with a client who has several thousand customers who have purchased items in the past. These folks were never added to a mailing list but she has access to their contact information through PayPal.
The client has a new product coming out soon and would like to notify the previous customers of the product launch. We are allowed to add the customers to the mailing list however they are treated as if it were a double opt-in before they can receive messages.
I know we don't really need to mass email them directly because we don't want our email address to be reported as spam. Does anyone know of an ethical way in which the older customers can be contacted without them having to go through the opt-in process?
Thanks
