newsletter subscription--how to?

I want to publish my newsletter monthly on-line and just keep it right on my website. However, I do need a way for people to subscribe and unsubscribe. I just want a simple script to allow them to subscribe and add them to my mailing list so that I can notify them when a new issue is on-line. OF course I will need to have a way for them to unsubscribe. I do not know where to start!!

Well, I have answered some of my own questions by reading the page on this website about newsletters. I think I have my mailing list created! :D
