Folks,
Wanted to draw on the expereince of the board. Has anybody tried direct mail with hand adressed envelopes (I mean REAL hand addressed vs a font that looks like handwriting)?
If so what was the response like? How much did they cost and where did you get them?
Many thanks in advance

I havent... but I can say that I've taken notice of mail that arrives in a hand-addressed envelope - much more so than printed envelopes or labels.
I'd be interested in hearing more on this too, if anyone has experience with it.

I would rather see a handwritten envelope. It shows the person put some time into it instead of blindly using a mailing list.

Hey Simon,
I think handwritten addresses are a great way to boost letter open rates and I'd be curious to hear what you're up to with the service you plan to offer.

Lynn,
Thanks for being lenient!!! We are still getting the website together but the pricing comes out at 15 cents per envelope with a minimum order of 1000 (discounts for larger quantities!). There will be a small shipping charge (around $15 as well)
I think as a "thank you" to SSWT we would waive the shipping charge!
