Article Submission Sites

For those interested in article submission, Ken Nadreau and Hubert Daul have just released a major update of Article Submitter Pro. There's a detailed review of the new release at the site below.

The update includes submission to over 200 article directories, ezines and email lists. The latest version (v 1.02 released in October 2006) adds a very welcome backup and restore function. Also new with this version is the ability to submit an article with different author names and titles to help you maximise your submissions.

Just getting around to reading this thread and since we've been doing some related research for an upcoming project we're wondering if you'd be willing to take a a minute or two to answer a few of our questions about your experiences with writing articles and their distribution.

I see Ken Nadreau and Hubert Daul have just announced a major update of Article Submitter Pro that is preloaded with over 500 websites.

Other key changes are:
- a Keyword Tab that you can use to highlight the keywords for each article you submit
- a Favorites tab so all the special sites you want to submit to can be separated from the rest and easily accessible.

In my experience one should aim to post good articles on a larger number sites as possible on a regular basis, to get best results. 80/20 rule may be correct, but the problem is how to know which ones belong to the 20 and which to 80. page rank does not help in sorting that out in my opinion.
Btw, thanks everyone for the directory lists posted here. They will be highly useful.
I downloaded the trial version of this new submission software http://www.article-post-robot.com . I have not used it as yet, but will check it soon. Anyway they too have a large list of submission directories and mail lists on their site.
