How big are the articles? You might be able to take them to a photocopy place and have them photocopy them in reduced size so that they fit a paper size that will fit your scanner.

The other option (if you have steady hands) is to put the articles up on an easel or pin it to a bulletin board and take a picture with your digital camera, then crop the picture so only the article shows. I do this all the time with my art work (pastels and scanner glass do not like each other very much ).

The only thing I'm not sure about is how well you would be able to read the print using either of these two methods. You could also post the jpeg so that people can see it was a published article, and then link the jpeg to the actual article which you've typed and uploaded to your site.

I didn't think about reducing it. I think I'll try that first and if that doesn't work I'll try the digital camera idea.
