Submitting Articles to Online Magazines

I have observed and read many discussions, tips, and training about the value of submitting articles to ezines and directories, and how it can drastically increase traffic over time.

Something which I have not seen discussed however is submitting articles directly to online magazines.

Entrepreneur.com, Businessweek.com, or any magazine with online content in whatever niche you happen to be promoting.

Are you aware of any authoritive or otherwise that list magazines with online content?

And also, how are submissions made to these types of sites? For example, Entrepreneur.com has taken some content that I am working with through an article submission service.. but I've been unable to locate an acceptable policy on their site for submitting this content directly.

As always; your input makes it all work!
