Thanks for posting that article, Mindy - very interesting. I look forward to seeing how things pan out. I know other members have mentioned alternatives here at the SSWT Forum, and expressed their complaints on the price increases, etc. And I do agree that competition would be good for everyone involved.

My personal take - I used to sell frequently on eBay. VERY frequently (sometimes 100 items a week, even). A couple of years ago, eBay raised their fees - as did the postal service - and combined, it just wasnt worth it to sell a large quantity of low-cost items anymore.

I agree too that eBay definately needs some competition. But it's also good that they're actually responding to what's been going on. For me, I just look at it all as less competition.

Even though eBay has the highest fee's around, I think their market presense is too strong, and too established for people to leave. eBay will always be #1 no matter what.
