Hi I've just joined this forum and am also a fairly new ebayer with 4 sells under my belt. I just want to ask about Tax laws on ebay earning within the UK.
I know its early for me to worry about this, but just wondering

I can not tell you about how UK handles it, but from a US perspective, depending on how much you sell determines how much you need to worry. If you are doing a smller operation most times it is sort of up to you to cover the taxes you might owe.
For our business we keep track of what needs to be paid in terms of State Sales Tax as we go.
I do know many probably collect their sales and never file if they are not doing a large business.
