I'm not sure about statistics, Alex, but I do know a handful of people that sell on eBay full-time and use this as their primary source of income. It would be interesting to see some numbers on that though...

I think I read somewhere that around 100.000 people have eBay as their full time job. If you want to meet some of those people, I recommend you go to www.auctionhints.com, their message boards actually. People like Jim Wilson, Robbin Tunget (the "eBay" queen) post there.

Hello! Well, I would say its been a long hot summer but that wouldn't be true. It's been a very wet summer. We've been doing a lot of traveling with the young un, so I haven't been around much since beginning of July. Hit up Disney World, Kings Dominion (I'm a roller coaster nut!) and a lot of camping. Also been working on my site "East Coast Fishing", which is taking a lot more time than I thought, but it's all a learning curve. I kinda explained my new dilema(did i spell that right ) on the SEO page... The only place I didn't get to see was the Carolina coast (kinda ironic). Bummer.

Although I'm employed full time as a web developer, my wife is a stay-at-home mom and Ebay has provided us with a very comfortable lifestyle. We've been Powersellers since 1999 and recently just purchased a new home, due largely to the success we've had on Ebay.

Someday, I will probably stop working and devote my time to our Ebay business fulltime, but right now, I have a great job, doing what I love to do and we're "saving for a rainy day", or possibly early retirement (I'm only 43).

It takes some work, like anything...but there are several "cookie cutter" solutions for making a good income on Ebay. Once you get a couple of those things down...it's like riding a bike.
