Help on Ending Auctions Early...

Postby Kirk » Tue Sep 12, 2006 10:18 pm

Although I've been selling stuff on eBay for a few years, I've recently been heeding the advice of the experts by starting my auctions at a $1 and running them as NR (no reserve).

I was really scared to try this, especially with items I expected to fetch $800 to $1000, but it's been working extremely well, however...

One question I get over and over is "Will you end the auction early?". How does this work and should one do it? Does eBay policy even allow this?

Why would you want to end an auction early, unless an exception offer was made? Many bidders and snipper software waits until the last few seconds of the auction before bidding.
