Hi Lynn - Thanks for the great information in your newsletter. Last week I joined ryze per your suggestion and have made a number of excellent contacts.

Anyway - I am working on promoting my pending radio show "GetReadyForLove." I have a number of products that I could sell on Ebay that would fit into the "Love" theme and could be an opportunity to build my listener base.

Could you point me toward any companies that you think are doing a great job as just this - using/not abusing the eBay opportunity to drive customers to their core business? To your knowledge can I put a link from eBay to my wsRadio host page without violating protocol?

I am very much looking forward to your show at wsRadio - can you provide a link here and also let us all know the day & time your show will air? When is the first show scheduled to launch?? I'm glad you are enjoying Ryze as much as I have - isnt it great? I didnt realize it at first, but there are some great message boards there as well - click on the "Network" link in the left navigation bar and check some of them out! Oh - I just found you on Ryze... off to sign your guestbook now.

When you get your show info ready to share with the public, you'll want to do a full-blown html-formatted profile on Ryze... you'll most likely get a lot of listeners and traffic from Ryze! eBay is a great promotional tool! Obviously there are rules to play by, but there are also some great ways to reach your targeted market by capitalizing on their massive amounts of traffic. You have the right idea by auctioning off products that your targeted listeners would be interested in!

The first step is to set up your About Me page. Check out these examples to get an idea (note: I get click-thru's from my About Me page on eBay even when I am not running any auctions!!):

When you are listing auctions, you arent allowed to post a link back to your website in your item description... but you ARE allowed to post a link to your About Me page

Also, you'll want to include a signature line and/or a "P.S." in all email correspondence with potential bidders - you'll find that people will email you to get more information throughout the duration of your auction... this is a good opportunity to introduce them to your show and/or other products/services that you offer! You'll also have an opportunity to email winning bidders and then follow up with them after the sale to make sure they received the item, etc.
