Viveca
Welcome to SSWT!! I'm so glad to see you here!
I am very much looking forward to your show at wsRadio - can you provide a link here and also let us all know the day & time your show will air? When is the first show scheduled to launch?? Also - I left you a message thru Isaac, but just to confirm... I do want you to add me to your mailing list so I can stay up to date with the show
I'm glad you are enjoying Ryze as much as I have - isnt it great? I didnt realize it at first, but there are some great message boards there as well - click on the "Network" link in the left navigation bar and check some of them out! Oh - I just found you on Ryze... off to sign your guestbook now.
Check out my Ryze page at
http://new.ryze.com/go/WebServiceNetwork . When you get your show info ready to share with the public, you'll want to do a full-blown html-formatted profile on Ryze... you'll most likely get a lot of listeners and traffic from Ryze! You can also check out these Ryze pages - they belong to friends of mine and I designed their Profiles for them:

eBay is a great promotional tool! Obviously there are rules to play by, but there are also some great ways to reach your targeted market by capitalizing on their massive amounts of traffic. You have the right idea by auctioning off products that your targeted listeners would be interested in!
The first step is to set up your About Me page. Check out these examples to get an idea (note: I get click-thru's from my About Me page on eBay even when I am not running any auctions!!):
http://members.ebay.com/aboutme/lynn@we ... etwork.com
http://members.ebay.com/aboutme/tranquilmoments2003

When you are listing auctions, you arent allowed to post a link back to your website in your item description... but you ARE allowed to post a link to your About Me page
Also, you'll want to include a signature line and/or a "P.S." in all email correspondence with potential bidders - you'll find that people will email you to get more information throughout the duration of your auction... this is a good opportunity to introduce them to your show and/or other products/services that you offer! You'll also have an opportunity to email winning bidders and then follow up with them after the sale to make sure they received the item, etc.
So these are basically your starting points... hope that helps! Feel free to email me or post here if you need any help at all... and check out the resources that I have put together at
http://www.WebServiceNetwork.com/ebay.htm - you may find some helpful tips there as well.
Ah - one last thing... you'll want to put that auction block on your wsRadio show page! Cross promote by sending your listeners to ebay, and your ebay viewers to your show! If you havent seen the "auction block" before, you can see an example here:
http://www.webservicenetwork.com/sis.htm . Just buzz me and I can send you the code to add to your page, no charge
You can also see a smaller version, formatted into a web page, here:

Take care & keep me posted on all of the exciting things you have going on! I look forward to getting to know you and listening in to your new show
