I haven't seen any discussions here about promoting a blog, so maybe we can start one.

For newbies who don't know how to build a website a blog is a great free way to start building a presence online. Get one free at
www.blogger.com , and get going.

So lets get started, what do you bloggers do to promote your blog?

Submitting to blog directories is another way to promote your blog (doesn't hurt for SEO purposes, either!)

Robin Good has a great . I just posted to about the great time I had at his main site. He has a ton of great resources there.

I use Robin Good's list as well - it's a very good starting point for promoting Blogs or Feeds!

In addition to the great suggestions already made, getting involved with other Blogs - or Blog communities - is a great way to gain exposure.

Thanks for the tips. Just joined feedburner and am reactivating my blogger acount I set up about a year ago. I will try to add my feedburner to my sig file, please share any tips or suggestions on what would be good additions to my blog page, or what needs to be changed. I am new when it comes to blogs.

Hmmm.... What did I do wrong? What do I need to change to get my feedburner working below? I did something wrong and not sure what? Any tips? I get it to work on my wepage using the exact same code? HELP, PLEASE.

Hello Again!

Another question. How long does it take feedburner to list a new entry ? For example, i made a new entry about 30 minutes ago, and feedburner is not showing it yet? Do I need to manually make feedburner upload it to the feed?
