I have just found through Google Analytics, that my home page has a bounce rate of nearly 50%.

This worries me, would someone be kind enough to take a look at my home page and offer some advice as to why this bounce rate is so high.

Hi Richard - I only have a second for a real quick peek, but at first glance, when I land on the home page, while the design is nice, there is no attention grabbing title to pull me in to sit and read all that text. My attention span (and time) are short. So I would suggest a title that would grab their attention. Then one other attention grabbing sub-title in that first/main page text to hold them there to keep them reading. It may seem short to you, but I would not sit and read that text without something else to prompt to or clue me in as to what the text was about.

I would also increase the font size for your navigation. The headers size is ok, the links below are too small for my eyes in FireFox.

At first glance, that's what catches my attention. Hope that helps.

Hi Richard :) Glad to meet you. I agree with Traci on the font size in the navigation.

The sidebars are little skinny and the center not filled with content, so I might widen those sidebars to sort of give the page more balance.
