PDF Angel wanted to solve pdf puzzle

Just coming up to launch a project and we get pdf problems!

One of our ebooks PDFs fine - with all links working

Another does not - the PDF ebook looks perfect but the links don't work.

We've tried several packages like pdf 995, primo pdf, adobe free trial, and freepdfconvert.

The latter seems to be the best but processes one of our books and not the other.

Both are Word docs of about the same size.

some Angelic or technical help appreciated!

Hi Alex and Kathy,

I had the same problems too, I tried all the different DPF makers and non worked. The only one that I could get to work was OpenOffice. Which can change the font styles if OO doesn't have the same fonts you are using in Word.

So I would give that a shot.

we actually started"our PDF career" with OpenOffice. But when we got awkward format changes upon PDFing we started to use other packages.

I am just working on a special report now and I'm sure that primopdf or one of the other will do the job fine.

With bigger file size we seem to meet some problems.

The really puzzling thing was that one of our eBooks worked fine and the other did not.

Same file size, formatting, type of images etc

We've outsourced the problem now - we'll see how that goes
