Your Income Level

Postby Dale King » Wed Aug 13, 2008 10:25 am

Hardly a day goes by without me getting an e-mail from one of my readers asking me how he or she can increase their income level. My response is always the same. Assuming proper application, the level of your income will always be commensurate with your knowledge level. In other words, the more knowledge you acquire about your chosen field, the more money you'll make.

For example, remember when you were in school? The kids who hit the books the hardest were rewarded with higher grades. Well, it's no different in the business world. Research shows employees who constantly improve their knowledge and skill level not only earn more money, but also get promoted and move up the ladder quicker than employees who remain stagnant in their learning.

The bottom line is this: If you want to increase your income, you have to increase your knowledge. The two go hand in hand.

Once again, great post!

Increasing your knowledge is extremely important! This is how I feel about it:

A year ago, I really thought I knew alot. Now when I think back, I didn't know anything at all compared to what I know now! The funny thing is, if you work online every day you will LEARN SOMETHING EVERY SINGLE DAY.

In this business, I don't think you ever know it all.

Another thing: Work, work and work some more. I believe the more work you are willing to put in and the more you try to help others succeed, the greater your rewards will be!

Thanks again Dale for a wonderful post! :D

Yet again you speak the truth for the masses to hear. I was working my butt off for several years holding down a full time job, raising a family and working on my bachelor's degree. It was hard and I missed out on all sorts of fun stuff with my family, but after I got the degree, I got what basically equates to an 80% pay raise. And at my company if I continue to grow my skills and knowledge, the opportunities to advance are numerous.

However if I choose to do the same old thing and not expand, I'll stay right where I am until I get laid off or retire.
