I have some sites for submitting my URL. What are some good ones to submit to? What is the time frame between each time you submit your URL?

Your best way to get into the search engines, is linking from pages that are regularly indexed. SSWT is a good example.

When you post a note here on the forum, and you include your URL to one of your sites, it is followed by the spider, and soon your site will start showing up in the search engines.

You can also answer questions on Yahoo Answers and post your website as a resource link, assuming it is a resource for the question, and it will be followed fairly quickly.

By building quality incoming links, from various sources, you'll quickly be listed, and will also be increasing your rank due to incoming links.

Take those two examples and expand it out a bit, and you could have links from MySpace, FaceBook, Squidoo, other forums, etc...

Just remember, quality. Don't spam those areas.

I checked all my past submissions in to search engines.
There is very little there.

that is the point. search engines get to your site in their own time.

remember, google is a search engine.
it crawls the entire internet and indexes every single page it finds.

yahoo, etc. are not search engines, they are directories.
therefore, if you want your site listed in a directory, you have to submit it.

if you want your site listed in a search engine, you just have to wait until it gets to you.
