Can Ordinary People Just Like You Really Make Money Online?

Postby Dale King » Thu Jun 26, 2008 9:32 am

Nearly every day I get an e-mail from one of my readers asking me if it's really possible for ordinary people without any special skills or education to make good money online. The answer is an emphatic YES! But I don't want you to take my word for it. I'm going to prove it you you. I'm going to tell you some real success stories about real people just like you:

While discussing with his wife what to do for their son's fifth birthday party, knowing how much his son loved animals, especially bugs, Seth Prezant
decided to put together a "bug show." The birthday bug show was a huge success! Seth's wife who is a third grade teacher and one of her teacher friends who was at the birthday party asked if he would do the creepy crawly bug show for her second grade class. Seth agreed. Once again, the bug show was a big hit. Soon, more and more schools asked Seth to perform the bug show until he eventually made the decision to educate children full-time about the wonders and importance of bugs. And that's how a successful online bug business was born. http://coolbugstuff.com/index.php

Christina & Terry Smiley were owners of a carpet store that had amasssed a mountain of debt. Christina was desperate for a way out of their dilema, because she wanted to make a better life for their three small children. Christina remembered she had read an ad somewhere about making money in judgement recovery. Anyway, to make a long story short, she sent away for the information and a year later she and her husband were able to close their carpet store and are currently earning five-figure paychecks every month with their online judgment recovery business. http://www.recoverycourse.com/index.html

Melanie Mendelson is a housewife and entrepreneur who turned her internet hobbies into a thriving e-book business. She quit her corporate job several years ago to pursue her dream of self-employment full-time, and never looked back. She lives by the principle "If you do what you love, you’ll never have to work a day in your life." Melanie is currently earning six-figures a year with her online e-book business. http://www.goforyourdreams.com/

Joy Gendusa was a graphic designer who one day ordered a batch of postcards to promote her business. She had a horrible customer service experience, and out of sheer frustration, decided to start her own postcard printing company. In the beginning, times were so tough Joy often considered quitting and getting a job. But she hung in there and today her little postcard business has grown into a multi-million dollar online enterprise. http://www.postcardmania.com/

She's appeared on NBC's Today Show and CNN’s “Your Money” with Ali Velshi. Valerie VanBooven is a former nurse who had a burning desire to be an entrepreneur. So she took her nursing background and ambition and started a consulting business helping elder-care and senior service providers with their marketing. She is now a highly sought-after speaker and author and makes her living full-time with her online consulting business. http://www.theltcexpert.com/

Ellen Violette had been a Grammy-nominated songwriter who was very passionate about what she was doing. But she was the typical starving artist. She wasn’t making any money! Ellen and her husband had been living with her mother until her mother suddenly died and they had nothing to fall back on. But Ellen always wanted to be a writer. So she took her passion for writing and ran with it, and today she's the owner of a profitable e-book consulting business. http://theebookcoach.com/

College students Adam and Abraham Hamza needed a way to make some money. So they started a cellular phone recycling business. They got a free website from Microsoft Office Live and soon they were off and running. Individuals as well as schools use their service. The brothers feel like besides making money they're also helping the environment, because too many cell phones are going in landfills across America. They figure if all the cell phones that went in our nations landfills were recycled, millions of liters of water would be saved from pollution. http://e-c-r.org/default.htm

So what do all of these entrepreneurs have in common? They had a dream and they went after it. They didn't let lack of experience stop them. They didn't let lack of money stop them. They didn't let personal tragedy stop them. They didn't let anything stop them. And that's the same attitude you have to have. You can't let anything hold you back. If you want to achieve something, don't look for excuses why you can't, look for reasons why you can. Don't settle for failure. Find a way to win!

Or in the words of Nike...just do it!
