I dont like tinyurl or anything similar. I am used to it on Twitter and so thats fine, but otherwise I wont even click on them. I like to see what I'm clicking on

Twitter automatically shortens most URLs so you dont have an option there with most tweets. I havent seen it on other social sites myself - but that could be the reason there too.
