Hello
I have recently subscribed to Google Analytics and I am boggling at the amount of useful information I get.
Amongst it is something that bothers me.
It is the bounce rate.
I have two sites that are up and running and the bounce rate is 50% on one and 47% on the other.
Surely this is a bad thing, I don't really know what an acceptable bounce rate is, but the optimum must be zero?
Would anyone like to comment?

The reader has to leave sometime Don't they?? lol
I would worry more about the amount of time each visitor stays on each page.
If their bouncing on your entry pages quickly without going to other pages then that is something to look at closer.
