Guide Recommendations for learning basic copywriting

Hello!

I'm looking for information to begin writing copy. I'll be employing this information as I learn it.

Do you have a recommendation on the best guides/reading material to start learning with? I'd like to keep it inexpensive at first.

My favorite book is Hypnotic Copywriting by Joe Vitale, but I dont think it is for sale anymore - you might do some searching on that. I also like Karon Thackston's . But I havent read anything new on the topic recently - I imagine some of the other members here would have some good suggestions...

I enjoy reading books that are easy to absorb and speak in laymans tongue.
