Why so many are stopping from making an onlin

Postby montyauto » Sun Mar 04, 2007 7:12 am

People say It's not difficult to earn money, but one has to work hard.

But I see a lot of posts on this forum from people having a really hard time generating an income online.

The statistics both online and off is that 95% of people fail when setting up their business.

Some one say that it hard accomplishing their goal while others tell that the number one reason people fail in MLM, is because of training so they don't know what they are doing.

Do you have any other opinion?

Yes; the great majority of people who go into online business fail to read, study, learn, practice, internalize and apply what it really takes to be a successful marketer.

You need to take action for things to happen. Sometimes people keep looking for the magic formula or they want someone else to take them by the hand and GIVE them the formula and that's just not possible... there are too many variables when it comes to marketing, what works for one may not work for the other. It does take time too, so it won't happen overnight.

My advice is:

Concentrate on building relationships and networking (this is going to take time)

Choose a few key people and learn from them, see what they're doing, what they're studying

Take action on what you're learning, otherwise you'll be learning forever and not actually implementing what you learn

Hope this helps, it can be done and a LOT of people are doing it, it's the ones that stick it out through the learning process which will be successful.

Working with people is not always as simple as it sounds.

1. Be patient with them. Let them the freedom to evolv.
2. Be there when they need you. Let them decide for themself what they want.
3. Possible they are still learning. Everyone has his own way of learning.
4. Never try to force them into sommething they don't see the importance off.

I agree with all of you above. Attempting to find the right information for success in any thing online can be a daunting task. I think most people become overwhelmed by the very thing they are trying to accomplish. Many people want to start an online business but start falling into all the hype and promises of very influentially written sales copy - so many distractions to overcome. It’s hard comprehending just how huge of a market the Internet really is, and could be seen as a double-edged sword. Sure the world can be our market which is great for a business, but the other thing to remember is the world is also our competition. And since most are competing more for money than anything else it’s not easy to find good, solid, useful information, but it is out there, this forum is prove of that. I agree most fail from lack of knowledge, skills, and proper guidance to go about it in a constructive manner. As with anything in life that’s unfamiliar or not with-in our daily routine it can become rather uncomfortable at start. This is why it is so crucial to learn what we can, do our homework. Knowledge and research, that’s the key.

As always this forum has hit the nail on the head.
The comments here speak volumes about what TO do and what NOT to do for a successfull on-line business.
The biggest bug-a-boo is "Instant Gratification".
We want what we want and we want it now!
We have all seen the promotions " install this for massive traffic", "one click set-and forget" and many others. It feeds the idea that making "millions" on the 'net is very easy.
As in any business it will take hard work, long hours, and an investment in oneself.

The advice already given is great. A lot of good information for people just starting out to take into consideration.

Another thing I want to throw in is that not all systems work for all people.

Newbies will go out and purchase an ebook and think that they will receive instant success, just like the author, when the model may not be fun or rewarding for them.

It's important to find something that you enjoy doing and makes you happy day in and day out. Otherwise it will be just another J.O.B. and we all know how much we enjoy jobs, right? LOL

People fail because they do not have a true and sincere desire to make the changes necessary to succeed and to get up when they fall.

As lynn said, it's human nature to be averse to change. However, change and persistence is what will determine whether or not a person stays in her rut.

Can't really add anything to what's been said except to say, find a system that is easy to follow and gets results. As lynn said be persistent and consistent, success is there for the taking. Believe that you are worthy of success, head down, tail up follow the advice of the sytem you choose and DON'T GIVE UP :!: :!: :!: (can't empasise that enough LOL)

Cheers
