VMC Satellite - Good or Bad?

I agree I probably wont have much luck online, but I was thining of doing direct mail, or newspaper ads. Hopefully that will have some better chances, although I just received 2 mailers last week trying to sell me satellite service, so I suppose that area is pretty competetive too.

There are companies with better payouts than VMC. The only advantage VMC has is that it is 3 tier instead of 2, but since very few people make any money at it, odds are you won't get much from your tiers anyhow.

I have several companies listed at http://comparesatellite.info/satellite-affiliate.php if you want to compare offers. I definitely recommend offline advertising - online I get 1-2 sales per month. You can try putting flyers up or talking to apartment managers about handing out the flyers or letting you post on their bulletin boards. Real estate agents can be good too. They're where it can be worth considering the number of tiers, since they might just decide to join the program and promote it themselves!

You certainly do get around to the forums...LOL

I signed up with a VMC competitor. I had their banner on one of my sites for a while...not really an affiliate site...I even ran a 1 million targeted email campaign. Didn't make a dime. I always thought direct mail, flyers, announcement cards strategically based, might be the better way to go, but never got around to it. Basically, the banner serves as just a "place holder" on one of my sites, now.
