I'm not jumping for joy. Somewhere near sweating bullets I guess.
I am a terrible record keeper. I file email receipts in folders and have a single 2007 file in my desk where I place all physical receipts I collect. When the time comes I sit and go through all of that and compile my expenses lists.
I do a manual file downloading and printing off the forms from irs.gov. I pay electronically and send my return by mail.
I'm thinking to check out an online filing service this year. Turbotax maybe.
Lynn, I seem to recall you saying that you do your own books. I assume you file for yourself too. Do you? What's your process?
