I started working at home after my first son was born. I had planned to just go back to teaching, but he was born with an imperforated anus and had to have a colostomy a few hours after birth. There was no way I was leaving him in the hands of someone who didn´t know about his condition, so I stayed home.

After a couple of failed attempts at home businesses, I finally got internet and renewed my interest in freelance writing. I´m now mom to two, my older son is 19 months and the baby is nearly 2 months old. Having two under 2 is really a challenge when I have deadlines!
