Ok, I think it's because it's JavaScript, and I can't paste that into Wordpress- could that be the issue? I just tried the text-only format, didn't work either:(

You may not be able to place the script in a post itself - but it might work on other areas of the page? I'm honestly not sure...

You can post it in other areas of a WordPress blog, but not in a post, since posts don't accept Javascript.
Now, if you really want it in a post, you need to use one of the plugins that let you place AdSense in a post. The plugin I use lets you place any code in there, not just AdSense, so you should be able to put in the Firefox code.
Of course, I think Google says you can only post those links once on a page, so you may want to decide if you want to have it in a post or elsewhere on the blog.
