There are other types of redirects that you can use
- Server Side, using the HTTP Header parameter Location:URL
- Meta tag
- .htaccess

Why not capture who sent the visitors and count them while you redirect?
I commissioned a simple PHP script to do this and have used it for years now. I can set up a new target in a few seconds, review who sent all the hits and how many, and reset or reconfigure it in seconds.
It also makes my URL look better when I use something like http://GetYoursFree.com/relate
If anyone here wants a copy, just drop by my website and use the contact page to let me know and I will attach it to a return email in a zip file.
