Tracking Affiliate Hits using Natural Search???

Hi everyone....if I have build a landing page that takes a potential customer to an affiliate site, how do I go about tracking this to see if I have had any visitors/buyers, etc?

I know if it is an Affiliate through CJ, then they have a tracking tool, but what about independent affiliates (not through CJ)? I would be interested to know how you track how successful your affiliate page is...? thank you!

Hi Kelly,

Your site stats will tell you how many visitors you've had - and from where (most stats will even offer details about the sources, such as search terms used at search engines, etc).

Your affiliate stats will tell you how many sales you have made - and often they will also tell you how many impressions and/or click-through's your link(s) received.

So if your stats tell you that your page had 1,000 visitors, and your affiliate stats tell you that you made 13 sales... then you know your page is converting at 1.3%.
