It's NOW OFFICIAL for Rhode Island Amazon Affiliates ...

YOU have been terminated from the Amazon.co Assciates Program as of June 29, 2009.

See what the actual termination letter says ...

I hope the politicos from RI and the other states that passed these most likely unconstitutional laws are VERY proud of themselves at what they've done. They better hurry and head over to their nearest hospital's emergency rooms as their feet MUST HURT alot after shooting themselves in the foot.

They've effectively cost their states a bunch of revenue instead of creating more.

:( sorry to hear that it's official. Hopefully something will happen that turns this around into a positive thing.

Oh, I was just ranting a bit. :P

Like I've mentioned before, I haven't done all that much with Amazon where losing their aff program will affect me much.

I DO feel bad for those that have been doing alot with Amazon and get canned from their program.

I'll just have to wait and see what happens over the next month or so and see how other merchants react. I'm sure I'll be receiving some other similar letters since I use a few CPA Networks also.

Certainly gonna be interesting to see how this "shakes out" for affiliates over the remainder of the year.

June 30th, NetShops (via PepperJam Network) dumped me from their affiliate program. That one kinda irks me tho. I was starting to do a bit more with them. Plus I have to hunt down ALL the links I have out there and change them.

Thank God For Redirects!

I'm actually surprised I haven't gotten more so far. I'm sure there will BE more! heh heh

Politicians aren't the only ones that can do some workarounds.

For everyone in the U.S. -
