As Lynn always says: work on one niche at a time, work that through to profit before starting anything else.

Profitability requires action on your part. No money is going to be made by continuing to fill your head with information that you never actually use and put into action.

Affiliate marketing is not rocket science or brain surgery: so don't try to over-complicate it. Follow Lynn's tips starting a free online business to help get you started.

I'm going with Traci on this one

FOCUS on one niche at a time

Another tip would be to try and use the products you're promoting if at all possible.

If I had to start all over again, I would implement the following steps:

-- set out your goals and the purpose of your business

-- find a market that is hungry and is willing to spend money online

-- find a problem in that market that people are desperate to solve and solve it (via a product or service)

-- spend the proper time investigating the keywords and phrases that people search for when they are seriously looking to buy. Write your content around these keyword phrases

-- use a squeeze page and a freebie (bribe) to build a list of prospects (subscribers) and communicate regularly with them in newsletters and ecourses (build relationships)

-- promote and sell them the products or services that will solve their most pressing problems

-- Adjust, Rinse and repeat the profitable strategies

Take action.

As others have said.. work on one thing at a time rather than trying to collect all the information and all the affiliate programs. Take action to make one thing profitable and then add another.

I would agree, stick to one niche and decide how you are going to promote it, seo, ppc, build a list whatever. Work at it until you are profitable. Don't be distracted by the latest greatest ebook etc.

Good luck

(1) do not read too much - you can learn more from action than reading
(2) after some looking around at different approaches...
(2) buy one book and focus on it like a lunatic for a couple of months to give it a chance.
(3) If it does not work login here and ask for advice!
